PLACE CHANGE FOR FRIDAY (no longer Bahama Breeze) -
The organizers will be setting up shop at the bar/restaurant at the Hotel, rather than at bahama breeze! We'll be starting around 6.30; feel free to come early and help out, or come later and drink! Life is good.

comment to:

IMPORTANT - Tonight's meetup at Bahama Breeze!
It has been brought to my attention that there is a possibility that hanging out at Bahama Breeze leads to smelling like Bahama Breeze (whatever that smells like), so there is a possibility that we may be moving to another place in the area.
Please keep an eye on twitter and this space; we will update both if we decide to move.

Saturday night get-together!

How about we plan on finishing up the conference with a fun time at the hotel bar! We can gather there and hang out a bit. I'd love to hear everyone's opinion of how the conference went.

Get-together on Friday night!

Wow! The planning committee is going to be meeting at the Bahama Breeze in Beachwood on Friday night to prepare, which also means that we'll be there to hang out with everyone who gets there early! Come out, come one, come all! Here's a map:

Hey, all!
Are you coming in or being around the area on Friday night?
We are planning on having a get-together at a bar in the area of the hotel on Friday night! Drink, chat, network, drink! All sorts of fun things!
I'll put up the exact location within the next couple days, keep watching the crowdvine.

Venue is Announced!

This year the Cleveland Day of .NET will be at the Hilton Cleveland East/Beachwood hotel. Now that you know where it is, there is nothing stopping you from showing up :).

Sessions have been announced!

Satya,

Feel free to move from track to track, they are just there as guides (and not even really that at the moment) but you are by no means locked into a single one.

In fact, we probably wont even have bouncers keeping you in the room if one session starts and it ends up not being on the topic you though it was. :)

@Gary Powell: Doh! I just saw your message about CODoDN, but I didn't see you there. Where you there?

How about Cleveland DoDn? You should be able to get in to the registration. Email me offline, too.

comment to:

@coreyhaines: Hey Corey, well thats the plan... But the registration on this thing is strange not sure if I registered or not. But I plan to be there.

@coreyhaines: Open spaces idea - Memories of VBA ;) Seriously was thinking about this at work today... *sigh* All this VBA has gotten to me.

response to the blog post:

Last Week For Speaker Submissions!

Show up tonight with your abstracts and we'll talk. I believe that a majority of the planning committee will be present so we can make a decision there.

response to the blog post:

What topics do you want to hear?

Anyone used Castle /and/ Spring.NET /and/ ASP.NET MVC? A comparison of the three major non-webforms frameworks would be really cool.

It is a bit outdated. I think my beard is definitely at least an inch longer, if not more.

@coreyhaines: Now there's a picture! :p

@Jack Altiere: You work at CTPartners? Say HI to Drew for me :)

response to the blog post:

Poll: Does Cleveland Rock?

I'd participate, but it would get ugly. I played 3 songs on GH3 on easy before my xbox bit the dust.....still waiting to get it back from MS.

@Brian Prince: Welcome! Thanks for pointing me to this site btw :)

comment to:

@Nate Kohari: So does your Guitar Hero fame exist outside of your own head? :) (Your wife doesn't get a vote either)

comment to:

@John Stockton: Sadly enough, I've done enough VBA to talk about it in my sleep :\

But no pics of the tattoo that Michael Eaton speaks of...

comment to:

@John Stockton: I'm fun at parties.

comment to:

@David Good: You really need a life :)

comment to:

@Richard Broida: Congrats on making it in, I knew it would take more than a pesky OpenID to keep you out :).

comment to:

@Sarah Dutkiewicz: So where is VBA in your expert tags? I've heard that Microsoft comes to you for answers on it :)
